Your India locker consolidates several orders into one box, so you pay one shipment, not many:

• Small — up to ~30 × 22 × 12 cm, ~2 kg
• Medium — up to ~40 × 30 × 20 cm, ~5 kg
• Large — up to ~50 × 40 × 30 cm, ~10 kg
• Extra-large — up to ~60 × 50 × 40 cm, ~20 kg

Anything heavier is split across boxes to stay within courier limits, and you are charged on the higher of actual and volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000).

Forwarding runs through our partner World Wide in Hyderabad, who books the right carrier for your route:

• Express networks (DHL, FedEx, UPS, DPD) — fast; a single box is typically capped near 23–30 kg depending on the service.
• Economy routes — cheaper and slower, with similar per-box caps.

Orders over ~30 kg ship as multiple boxes automatically.

Shipping is priced per kg in INR on a simple weight-banded rate for your country — the heavier the box, the lower the per-kg rate. For Ireland, for example, 6+ kg, 11+ kg and 21+ kg bands step the price down.

Consolidating into one box almost always beats several small parcels, and you see the exact quote before you pay.

• India locker — free for your first week, then a flat 10 in your currency per week, pro-rata by the day.
• Handling & packing — small itemised INR charges shown on your quote.
• Electrical items and medicines — a per-item surcharge, per the carrier's rules.

No markups on the product price — you shop and pay the store directly; NRINest only ever charges locker and shipping.

• Irish VAT (23% on most goods) applies from the first euro — the old €22 exemption ended in 2021. VAT is calculated on the goods plus transport and any duty.
• EU low-value duty relief was removed on 1 July 2026: most parcels valued €150 or under now attract a small flat customs charge (about €3 per product type). Above €150, duty varies by product — check revenue.ie for the current figures.
• Genuine person-to-person gifts up to €45 are free of VAT and duty. Alcohol, tobacco and perfume never qualify.
• You pay as the recipient — the courier clears the parcel and collects VAT, duty and its clearance fee before delivery.

Once your orders reach the India locker, you approve what arrived and pay; transit is then roughly 10–12 working days door to door for Ireland (faster express options vary by country), subject to customs, weather and flight schedules.

If something arrives at the locker and isn't right, reject it with one tap and choose return for refund or return for exchange— the desk sends it back to the seller, and you settle the money directly with the store, exactly as if you'd returned it in India. NRINest and the desk never handle the product payment.
